Reports from industry research firm Infonetics Research showed that the worldwide market for Telephony & Management support services increased by 48% during 2006. According to industry statistics on teledensity, a measure of the number of telephone lines per 100 of population, India had a teledensity of nearly 28% at the end of 2010, with plans to increase to 41% by 2012.
